Cabourg is famous for being Marcel Proust's favorite vacation place at the beginning of the 20th century and witnessed the historic departure of William the Conqueror in 1066.

In more recent times, towards the end of the last century, the seaside resort came into its own as the fashion for bathing swept Europe, led by no less a figure than the Empress Eugenie of France, wife of Napoleon 3. Cabourg is located 20 kilometres from the renowned resort of Deauville and approximately 25 kilometres from the ferry ports of Caen and is well served in terms of transport links with trains to Paris and Deauville, Caen and Lisieux as well as buses that link Caen to Le Havre, Cote Fleurie, Honfleur…

This new development will be located approximately 5 minutes walking distance from the town centre and less than 1 km from the beach. Other nearby activities include shops, tennis, golf, squash, pony club and a casino.
